Episode 453 - Half Way There

episode 452 - The Away Game

Sarah discusses all things Japan, while Simon dreams of venturing back there. They share some important news and encourage audience participation, while Reginald asks us all to join in on a guessing game.

Episode 450 - Celebrations and pronunciations

The podcast celebrates an unofficial milestone of 450 episodes, with Lyndell welcoming special guest host Johan Duvenhage.
There were adventurers aplenty at special days in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden, and the hangover from Japan's special day means there are plenty of imperfect pronunciations to please - or punish - your ears.
Reginald profiles Japan, but their pronunciation hack is too late to save Lyndell. We have roving reports from Sunshine Beach and Futakotamagawa and Mansfield Botanic parkruns.

Episode 449 - Is it your first time?

Technical issues aplenty but the resilience and buoyancy of the dynamic team puts out another whiz bang episode. Grab your cape and superpowers as Lyndell and Simon take you all over the world in under an hour. Reginald focuses on a country with only one parkrun, and the roving reporters sound familiar, checking in from University of Galway and Jubilee Tenterfield parkruns. Johan gets another scoop too. We celebrate listener achievements and milestones at Dazzas, and marvel at all the first timers at launches. Plenty of stats from special days and we say goodbye to a legend.

Episode 448 - Surrounded by clowns

Grab your big red shoes, baggy pants and colourful top hat. TOC is packing his bag of tricks and Lyndell is juggling a life outside of parkrun. Reginald takes a giant magnifying glass to the Running Achievements app, and the roving reporters have bundled into the clown car, headed for Parklakes Wetlands and East Holmes Field parkruns. We celebrate listener achievements and milestones at Dazzas, and pull an endless string of launches out of our sleeves.

Episode 447 - You raise me up

Wait… it can’t be… barkrun? Selfscanning? A new mascot? New volunteer roles? Don’t be fooled! Simon shares his recent adventures, while Sarah prepares to take flight. Reginald drops in to share all things Wilson, while we hear reports from Lost Lagoon, Edithburgh and Vingis parkruns. Would you believe that Easter egg wrappers have been left all through the office and the email box is full? There’s no complaints here!

Episode 446 - Show us your weed

Did we get your attention? Good! We’ve also got the Big Cheese and a swathe of roving reports from the UK (Queens parkrun in Glasgow and Flint Castle in Wales) to Poland (Zalew Łęg) and back home, with Gayndah River Walk ( in Queensland). Episode 445 - Rainbows, Recordings and the Riesling Trail

PALM26, the best time of the year! Lyndell, Sarah, Simon and TOC took the podcast to the Clare Valley in SA. The Adventurers enjoyed a live pod recording at Clare Rise Bakery. There was talk of all things Clare Valley and an interview with the ED Sheridan Laws and one of the RDs, Sue Mayfield. Adventurers popped into Dazza’s live, the quizmaster worked his magic and there were milestones a plenty. Disclaimer: Lots of carbs were consumed in the recording of this podcast.

Sarah and Simon have packed their bags and they are ready for PALM. There’s lots to love in this episode, from song renditions, declarations of love and Reginald playing their favourite guessing game.
